Groups
Groups are integral to all that we do at EastLake Church because we believe that life is a team sport.
The fact is, our Sunday services are way too big to build real community... honestly, it is not even our goal. Plus, it would be wrong to want to keep the overall size of the church small for our own sake. That’s like saying, "I want be a part something great but don't want anyone else to hear about it". – That’s just selfish. So how do we stay faithful to God's call to reach out and make room for everyone, but still be able to connect in a more relational setting for community? GROWTH GROUPS!
We've decided to model ourselves like the first century church by having large group celebration and inspiration once a week (Sundays), and then also gathering in smaller contexts during the week (Growth Groups). Groups are a great way to meet new friends, grow in your relationship with God, have fun, and make a difference.
How it works: Group sessions run three times a year, for three months at a time, with one month off after each session. It works very similar to a college course schedule. During the off month, registration for the upcoming session is open. There will be an online catalog that describes the groups and you simply choose one that fits your availability and interests. Almost 100% of the regular adult attendance at EastLake attends a group. Every group is BRAND NEW each session, so don't worry about being new - everyone is!

The Fall session of Growth Groups will be open for registration on Sunday, September 12th.
Winter Session is February - April
Summer Session is June - August
Fall Session is October - December
